Director - Lisa Jones
God has given our director, Lisa Jones, a heart for young children. For over eight years Lisa has been working with children and their families in the Early Childhood Field. It is her desire that young children obtain quality care while in the preschool setting. Her knowledge of state regulations, as well as, best practices for teaching young children will help lay the foundation of your child’s success in their educational experience.
Additionally, Lisa has been a member of Central Baptist Church since 2005. She has been helpful in numerous areas of the preschool’s construction. She understands the church’s mission as well as its vision, and is committed to not only providing a safe environment for your child at Central Baptist Preschool, but a spiritual and educational experience your child will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
In her philosophy of teaching, Lisa believes that more than just “good childcare” is essential for the development of the whole child. It is vital for the child that the teacher provides experiences within the classroom to explore different learning opportunities that will meet and develop a child’s spiritual, physical, intellectual, and social needs through their individual learning style. Lisa believes whole heartedly that a child’s family is crucial in education and considers herself a partner with each child's parents in the task of teaching and loving those in her care.

Infants Lead Teacher - Bernice Brantley
Bernice has been working in childcare since 1999, having been an infant and toddler teacher for most of those years. She truly enjoys caring for children and feels it is a gift from God. Her calming voice provides reassurance to parents and soothes the little ones in her care.
Bernice is currently pursuing her diploma in Early Childhood. She is married to Rickey, who has his Associate of Divinity from Southeastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forest. Together, they have one daughter, Lindsay, who is married and lives in Chapel Hill.

I have lived in Raleigh my entire life and have been married to a wonderful man named Keith for over 20 years. Keith and I have two children, Ashley and Brandon.
Our family started attending church here at Central Baptist in 1997. Since then, we have all been saved and baptized here as well! I love Jesus with all my heart and wish everyone could know Him personally. I have served the Lord at Central Baptist Church by teaching Preschool Sunday school, VBS, and worked with the youth group. My family has had the privilege to go on two mission trips and we hope to go on many more!
I love children and I pray if the children in my classroom learn one thing - that they will know that Jesus loves them no matter what! I love being a preschool teacher! Yes, it is hard work, but it is one of the most rewarding things I know!

I am married to a wonderful husband named Brooks and we have an amazing preschool daughter named Camden Faith. We are active members of Zebulon Baptist Church where I occasionally work in the nursery on Sunday. We live, love and serve the Lord in our wonderful community of Zebulon. We are a very blessed family and enjoy serving our Lord everyday of our lives.
I feel very blessed to work at CBC Preschool and thank God everyday for bringing me here to this wonderful school. I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful toddlers in my class and worshipping the Lord.

2 Year Old Lead Teacher - Ginger Hinnant
I have been working in preschool childcare since 2006. I have received my Early Childhood Certificate and am pursuing my associate’s degree in Early Childhood. My family and I have been active members here at Central Baptist Church since 2007. I truly believe my mission is to serve the Lord by offering Christian childcare, both spiritually and academically. I look forward to loving the precious little ones God sends my way! They make my heart smile!

3 Year Old Lead Teacher - Leslie Maley
First and foremost I am a Christian and I hope my values will somehow shine through for all the children to see. I was called at an early age to have a desire to work with children. I was previously employed at Wake County Public Schools. I worked with Special Needs Children and thank God for bringing me to Central Baptist Church Preschool.
I was born in Texas, grew up in Madrid, Spain, moved to New York and then into Maine. After several years in the cold, we decided to move to North Carolina. You could probably guess that my father was in the Air Force.
I have two great kids (boys) and one totally awesome husband, a brother who is four years older and a pretty cool sister-in-law with two girls and one boy. I have two great parents who have been married for 44 years, and live right across the street from us.
I have been coming to Central Baptist Church for over ten years. I am a member of the choir as well as the praise team. I am also a singer for our mission team, New Covenant. We travel to the local Residents homes to sing praises and to fellowship with the folks there.
I am truly thankful that you have entrusted your child in our care.

4 Year Old Lead Teacher - Kathy Snyder
The Lord has given Kathleen a tender heart for preschool age children and she knows this current position is a Divine appointment. She has been working with children since early in her young adult life, when her Pastor asked her to “consider” teaching in a 1st Grade S.S. class. That invitation to become involved in ministry was one of many seeds planted along the way for what the Lord had in store. She began working with preschool age children in 1998. Through the years Kathy has been in the classroom teaching and also involved with many aspects of Children’s and Adult Ministries.
Kathleen and her husband Mark live in Wendell and she has two college students, Ryan and Meghan. They all have been members of Central since 2005. She has seen first-hand the great need for Christian influence in children's lives and is committed to loving, nurturing and guiding the children in her care not only to recognize their ABC’s but also into a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Kathleen assisted with the foundational needs of opening our preschool by serving on the preschool Board of Directors early in the planning phase. She has her North Carolina Early Childhood Credential and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.

Board of Directors
Central Baptist Preschool is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of members from Central Baptist Church. Thus, the Preschool Director reports directly to the Preschool Board.
Among the board members are individuals with backgrounds in the following areas: education, finance, business management, marketing, legal services, church administration, executive leadership, church pastoring and preschool ministry.
